Nowzad's story is going to print!

Nowzad - the book!   Cornish author J. A. C. West has been commissioned by Nowzad to write the real story of Nowzad's escape from war torn Afghanistan and his amazing journey to freedom as a children's book. "I'm so excited to be working with Pen on his story - well, Nowzad's story - it's an honour. I'm a dog lover myself so when I read in the newspaper about what Pen had achieved, I wanted to get in touch. I never thought that I'd have the chance to tell this fantastic story to an even wider group of people by writing a book about it. "The book is going to be called The Amazing Adventures of Nowzad. I can't wait to get started!"

Pen F is also going to write the story of the rescue of Nowzad as a seperate book and says "Nowzad's story needs to be told in detail and if we can make a ton of money for the charity as well then bring it on! Who said Marines can't write!!!!!" The books will help to highlight the issues the charity is trying to raise and will help Nowzad Dogs continue their wonderful work and giving help where it's most needed.   We will give details of both books later this year - watch this space!

Nowzad Dogs is a registered charity number 1119185 Mission Statement: To relieve the suffering of animals, predominantly stray and abandoned dogs, in need of care, attention and to provide and maintain rescue facilities for the care and treatment of such animals, especially the dogs of Afghanistan.
