FUBAR just before being transported to the rescue

FUBAR was found alone and freezing by Dutch Marines on patrol. They think like we do and were not going to leave her.

They took FUBAR in and looked after her as best they could. The Marines knew that they would be leaving the forward operating base soon and FUBAR would not be allowed to go with them.

Frantic emails and calls to girlfreinds and relatives back in Holland and a long time searching on the internet bought the Nowzad Dogs charity to the rescue!

With the charities contacts in Afghanistan and with the fantastic support of local Afghan people, FUBAR was transported safely to the rescue where she is now being looked after.

We have promised to help raise the required money to get little FUBAR to Holland where one of the girlfriend's of a Marine is going to give her a loving new home.

This little puppy is a real sign of the compassion that can be found in the most testing of situations when all other hope is thought to be lost.

Thank you to all who helped get FUBAR to safety, we will keep you updated.
