ways to help We have started small but with your help we can only get bigger!  All the money that is donated goes directly towards helping the animals in need while raising awareness of the problems that homeless animals, (in war zones), can and do face. We are working hard to provide a sustainable plan for training and educational programs to train the Afghan vets of tomorrow as they just don't have the adequate educational facilities in place and to promote the benefits of animal clinics. It will be a long slow road but I hope that you will stay with us for the journey. We keep all administration costs to a minimum - the Nowzad Dogs team are all volunteers! HOLD AN EVENT or promote the Nowzad Dogs story for us! More fundraising ideas here Whether you are an individual, part of a large organisation, old or young, then why not organise an exciting event to raise money in aid of the Nowzad Dogs appeal? A cake bake - fun run - dog walk for example, are just some of the ideas that our supporters are doing to raise funds. Create your own page on 'justgiving' (click the logo on the left) and let them do the admin for you! Can you display a Nowzad Dogs poster (click here to print the PDF A4 version of the Nowzad Dogs poster), or add a piece to your local newspaper or magazine? If you have read 'One Dog at a Time' could you write a review for your local magazine, newspaper, book club? It all helps!!! STAMPS AND OLD COINS (UK or Foreign) Do you get lots of mail? We can turn your used stamps into money for Nowzad Dogs! Just make sure the stamps have a small piece of the envelope around them as a border but no more than 4mm otherwise the Nowzad Dogs team have to sit there and do it! To make life easier, please wait until you have a large pile of used stamps before sending them. We can alSO turn all those old coins and notes into hard cash for the charity. PAYE Making a PAYE donation through your salary is simple to organise - just ask your Payroll department for the relevant forms. If your company does not yet operate the Payroll Giving scheme, you can talk to your payroll department to arrange a scheme that allows you to donate through your salary, - setting up PAYE is easier than you think! First you need to register with a Payroll Giving Agency (PGA) approved by the Inland Revenue. See the Inland Revenue Website for a detailed listing: www.hmrc.gov.uk/payrollgiving and then once you are registered, all you need to do is send a payroll giving form to your PGA and they will do the rest. The PGA is responsible for adding the tax onto a donor's gift and transferring the total sum to the donor's nominated charity - which hopefully is Nowzad Dogs!

LEGACIES Help us continue to assist unwanted and abused animals after your death by making a legacy to Nowzad Dogs. As the founder, Pen F of the charity says in typical Royal Marine dry humor: "at the end of the day we can't take our money with us so we might as well put it to good use and it makes sure the government keep their grubby mitts off it too - the taxman has had enough of my money already!" We rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters and your legacy, no matter how large or small, will allow us to continue what we started - giving dogs and other animals a little help in life.
